[Lotus Notes Sucks: Example 27]
Changing Column Widths
Problem
Lotus Notes displays the columns, such as the Size column, at the default width shown here:
You can resize the column, but the next time you start Lotus Notes, it "forgets" your settings and changes it back to the default.
Also, if you click the View Show/Hide Preview Pane button, Lotus Notes forgets your preference next time you start it.
Analysis
Lotus Notes should remember your preferences.
Update for Version 6.5.2
Lotus Notes appears remember my View Show/Hide Preview Pane preferences.
User Interface Guideline Violations
- Forgetting user preferences.
- Forcing the user to deal with stupidity.
Conclusion
Lotus Notes sucks.
