[Lotus Notes Sucks: Example 14]
Drag and Drop Text
Problem
Except for a standard text box and Microsoft NotePad, just about every GUI application allows a user to drag and drop text. But not Lotus Notes.
Analysis
Instead, you have to cut and paste text the old fashioned way. How much does a Lotus Notes license cost? And I don't get drag and drop for that cost?
User Interface Guideline Violations
- Interface does not follow established conventions because the user cannot drag and drop text.
- Forcing the user to deal with stupidity.
Conclusion
Lotus Notes sucks.
